On Monday 10th December, our MFL Department hosted their very own Beths Bake Off.  Keys Stage 3 and 4 students were asked to create the following:

The Technical Challenge

To make a traditional French, Spanish, German, Chinese or Italian cake or dessert.

The Showstopper Challenge

To make any cake or dessert as long as it themed either Spanish, French, German, Chinese or Italian.  Students could use inspiration from the colours of the flags, the flavours of the countries or could be decorated in the style of a prominent buildings such as the Eiffel Tower or the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

The bakes could also take on a Christmas influence – perhaps a traditional Italian cake served during the festive period or some German Stollen!
