Our New Sixth Form Centre Is Now Open!



Students at the school have already been enjoying the new building and the additional space it brings.
Richard Blyghton, Headteacher at Beths Grammar School, said: “we are very excited to officially open our new Jubilee Sixth Form Centre today. It is an honour to celebrate alongside our students, staff, contractors and members of our community who have all supported and made this building possible.
“It is a truly incredible space for students to learn, study, and socialise at a really pivotal point in their education. The space will importantly support them as they study for their A Level exams and independent projects and prepare them for learning at university or employment after school.
“At Beths’ we’re committed to excellence and supporting our students to achieve so having the best space to learn is a core part of this. We’re really pleased to see the amazing impact it’s had so far, with no doubt more to come!”
Head Boy Dominik and Head Girl Betul at Beths Grammar School, said: “It was a privilege to welcome our trustees, governors, and alumni to the opening of the new Jubilee Sixth Form building and to showcase the incredible opportunities it will provide for us as well as future students. Speaking with those who have played a key role in shaping Beths Grammar School reminded me of the lasting impact this community has. As Head Boy, I was proud to share how this new space will support the next generation of Beths Scholars in their academic and personal growth.”
“The new sixth form building has made such a difference to my experiences. The study spaces are perfect for getting work done. Being in such a modern and independent environment motivated us to work harder and prepare for the future, making Sixth Form feel even more exciting.”
Louie French MP said: “It was a privilege to open Beths Grammar School’s state-of-the-art new Jubilee Sixth Form Centre. With 14 new classrooms, study spaces, and an eatery, it will be a fantastic place for sixth formers to learn. I know from speaking to the school’s excited and ambitious sixth formers that this building will make an enormous difference to their education.
