Respect
At Beths, we believe in respecting our environment and the many different communities and habitats around the world. We instil in our students a true commitment to helping our planet.
Our aim is to bring the whole school together to build a better world through education and access to nature. Through this aim, we will create opportunities to increase biodiversity and climate resilience and develop a whole-school approach to climate change and sustainability.
Our targets
We will set one, three and five-year targets to reduce:
- Our waste footprint
- Gas use
- Electricity use
- Water use
- Carbon use, we are striving to be carbon neutral by 2030
- and increase:
- The amount of sustainable, recycled, recyclable, repairable and reusable purchases we make
