We Care About Our Community
We know success is not achieved in isolation but by the collective efforts of our strong school community. There is a reason Community and Respect are two of our key values and we pride ourselves on instilling inclusivity, tolerance, acceptance and confidence in our students.
The Beths community extends well beyond the school gates and our students and staff care deeply about our local area and the global environment. We strive to provide meaningful and engaging experiences for our community, ensuring we are caring for those around us and our planet, always giving back and making positive contributions to society.
Examples of this include running initiatives with local primary schools, helping local charities close to our hearts, and supporting those in need. Recent charitable and community endeavours have included:
- Our Sixth Form students attending and helping with learning at local primary schools
- Our Key Stage 3 and 4 students hosting three primary schools for a fun-packed sporting event at Beths’ sports fields
- Our students organising and running valuable social events such as afternoon tea for the elderly members of our community
- Our students having the opportunity to participate in a 5km Fun Run to raise money in memory of Osaivbie
- Our team of Community Ambassadors litter picking in the local area
- Our partnership with local sports clubs and academies, such as Sevenoaks Suns who coach basketball at Beths.
We make it our mission to create opportunities for students to contribute to the school and our wider community, developing essential skills in teamwork and communication. This is vital to prepare them for the world after education.
