Sixth Form
At Beths Grammar School, we have a successful and highly popular selective and inclusive co-educational sixth form which is filled with bright and energetic young people who are eager to thrive.
As with our Key Stage 3 and 4 provisions, the aim of our sixth form is to develop well-rounded, forward-thinking, motivated, and highly successful young people who leave Beths with excellent academic achievements and go on to make a positive impact on our wider society.
Our rigorous, engaging and diverse curriculum delivers a platinum standard of education and allows students to tailor their A Levels to their passions and interests. With more than 30 qualifications to choose from, we offer the broadest A Level programme locally, allowing our students to thoroughly enjoy their individual combination of subjects, and giving our students the best possible chance to succeed.
Our selective and inclusive sixth form focuses on the development of the whole learner. Students are supported to make the most of the many extra-curricular and enrichment activities available to them, with a view to broadening their horizons and demonstrating to universities and future employers the breadth of valuable experiences they have gained. Students have access to an excellent pastoral programme and careers department, which guide them through key life milestones and helps prepare them for the future.
We are fortunate to have received funding and planning permission to build a brand new sixth form facility, which will open in January 2025. Students will have access to specifically designed areas for learning, studying and their own food service area, giving learners a taste of life at university and within the world of work.
We look forward to welcoming you into our school community.
